New Bylaws
The new bylaws constitute a major modification to the existing bylaws addressing dues, voting procedures, officer and board composition and several other more minor issues. Since they govern how your neighborhood association operates, please read them and offer any changes you think appropriate before our next meeting. Any suggested changes should be in written form modifying the actual text of the proposed bylaws. Please send your comments and suggested modifications to silverbeachneighbors@gmail.com.

Traffice Issues
Traffic Safety – The City of Bellingham has asked us to help prioritize traffic issues that need attention. Each neighborhood has been asked to identify traffic “hot spots” by April 30 for monitoring and possible resolution. Contact Bill Bode with your suggestions at 920-4768.

Green Power
Green Power Competition – It’s not too late to sign up for green power with Puget Sound Energy. For as little as $4 per month, you can help advance the development of electrical power sources that do not use fossil fuels. Your contribution would help purchase wind turbines, solar panels or plants that turn moo poo into power. The winning neighborhood association receives $1,000. Details are on your power bill.
